The nearby medieval town of Conwy is a world heritage site and offers plentiful restaurants, inns and craft shops alongside the fabulous castle.

Coastal Snowdonia (Conwy to Caernarfon) is an area of great natural beauty and its numerous nature reserves support internationally important numbers and varieties of birds.

Enthusiastic birdwatchers will enjoy Conwy Nature Reserve, only 5 minutes drive from the cottage. Woodpeckers, buzzards, long tailed tits, swifts and swallows are frequent visitors to the garden.

The National Trust’s Bodnant Gardens are just one mile away.

  The Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno has something for everyone: a tram or cable car to the top of the Great Orme, donkey rides on the beach and a championship standard dry ski slope and toboggan run, and the beaches of the north coast are only twenty minutes away.

The entire area is one of outstanding natural beauty and avails excellent access to all that North Wales has to offer.
